i took mine to the dealer for same problem...they actually had a service bulleting that identified the "Drone effect"....something about the fuel management system and it does that at low speeds......so they say!!!!

Sounds very much like the sensation I had when AFM was active.

As I understand it - AFM is almost ALWAYS active.

I was getting this problem too, but when I took it to the dealer, it wasn't happening. I feel like its not as apparent during rainy weather. Also, it seems to only happen when I'm going between like 20-50 mph (when I let off the gas). Now that it has warmed up and its been dry for a couple weeks, I feel like it's getting a lot worse.

I'm taking it back into the dealer this Friday, if they figure anything out - I'll let ya'll know.

i took it to the dealer about a week ago and he said they noticed it but there wasn't any bulletins on the problems so they didn't know what to do. its getting very annoying tho

Are all these cars automatic or manual transmissions? If it's a manual, I'd push in the clutch and see if the problem disappears. If not, as others have suggested, it maybe sluggishness in the activiation or deactivation of AFM.
