Normal Transmission Vibration???
I was wondering if the "Vibration" I'm feeling thru the shifter knob is normal? 2SS RS with Auto trans. Or is this an indication that something is wacky??

It should be very mild if any. If in doubt take a drive with someone from service dept.
If your used to FWD then it's probably just normal. |

I also have a 08 SS Impala. Don't feel nothing thru that shifter. But if you place your hand on the Camaros' shifter knob when driving, you feel a slight vibe thru it. I'll have to check to see if it's only in Drive.

Inspect the transmission and engine mounts, bolt torque. How do they check fluid in that 6 speed since it's sealed? Have them check that too. Should be ez to knock that out up on a lift.
Can't wait to get my hands on some service manuals. |

I have the 1 SS Auto and feel the slight vibration when I am in 4 cylinder mode at cruise 30 mph and up. I never thought it is a problem. Just feels like we are loading the engine and it is a torque vibration. It is very slight.
I am not worried. |
