Have you seen the HURST shifter in Motortrend

I think it looks dope and I want one for my A6. I hope Hurst sells them with color options. Has anyone seen these listed for sale? It's called the Hard Drive Shifter. Here's a nice pic:

you can get the shifter and that particular handle will be avail as a separate item you can purchase shortly. it will be avail in a "titanium" color and not gold . The Gold handle is exclusive to the Hurst vehicles, but the titanium color handle will be avail to the masses

No thanks! Make mine old school with a short chrome handle and a round ball on top. (I don't think I even want a T handle)

Hmm...I love the look and think it would look even better in Titanium.

My question is...I've never shifted a car with a grip shifter before. Is it uncomfortable? At least when you're not shifting with a ball shifter, you can rest your hand on the top of the ball when you're not shifting...but still in position.

Ya, NO, not liking it. I agree with a few off-color notes above - it does look like some kind of sex toy. Geez, sorry, but the pic almost looks skin colored and the thing is just standing there at attention.

Sad but true, I like my stock shifter. Might think about the round one shown above...
