Fog lights on 2ss/rs ls3

I've read the owner's manual and did a search and couldn't come up with a answer, I'm sure you guys will be able to help with such a simple ?.
How do I turn on my fog lights at night when my headlight automatically come
on?

Can they both be on at the same time is my question if so How do I turn on the fogs once the headlights come on.

Thank You

Jesse

You have an RS. You don't have fog lights, you have daytime running lamps. Nature of the RS package

You have the RS package therefore they are not fog lights but day time running lights. There is no way to turn them on without either modifying the stock harness or buying an after market harness that plugs in between the stock harness.

You would have to rig them with the parking lights...

just was curious....couldnt you buy the switch from the non RS cars and swap out with the one in a RS? cause the non RS has the push button built into the switch? im curious on if thatll work?

bad call on gms part for doing it that way....kinda lame i think

Just my personal opinion but I think it looks better with just the HIDs on. I had both RS and modified RS cars behind me on the way to the fest. HIDs with Halos looks like two evil eyes behind you. If you were a good looking girl you would surely trip over a tree root after seeing those. With the fogs on it took away that illusion. Again just my opinion. I saw enough modified at the fest to know that many disagree with me

I was wondering the same question. It would be nice to have Halo's on with the fogs. I thought I saw several pictures from CamaroFest with cars like this? Am I wrong?

The DRL's should have been the parking lights on the Camaro. How about fixing that for 2011 GM?

if you want to run them at the same time as the HIDs you should at least swap the bulbs out for HID ones so they match a bit better.
