I think that might be the case. Before ordering the car I have now 1SS M6. I drove a 2SS AT and the car with the automatic transmission seemed a lot faster on take off.

I have a friend with a SS M6 and he says he can smoke the tires from a rolling start easily. My car absolutely will not do this in any mode. I tried turning the traction control off and I can't smoke the tires from a rolling start.

Is my friend full of it? Can other SS M6 owners smoke the tires easily from a rolling start?

have you ever had 89 octane in it maybe from the dealer?
read the l99 fuse fix and the ls3 battery disconect thread.
could be your problem
