My CAI install

Installed my K&N Typhoon CAI after my fog light install (see previous post) and WOW!
overall, the install went pretty good, just have a FULL set of Allen wrenches available. I (of course) had EVERY size EXCEPT the one I needed, by some miracle,I found the one I needed in the junk drawer. ANYWAY, got everything installed and fired her up.

Let me just say this, before the install, she purred. Now she GROWLS! Sort of a deep-throated growl that sounds SO COOL! I wasn't expecting that big of a difference. She seems a bit more powerful as well, a bit more pick-up. I took her up to I-75 and let her open up and man, it was like hitting the afterburner! The engine growl nearly drowned out Poison!!! (I listen to Hair Nation on Sirius)

So I pull in to a CVS pharmacy to pick up some stuff for my mom at the rest home, a guy pulls up beside me in a really sweet Jaguar. His wife goes inside and he steps over to ask about my baby, commenting on the color and how cool the car was, I returned the compliments about his Jag... We talked a while and I told him I'd just installed the CAI. we talked a bit more and he left. I got in my car and cranked her up, revved the engine a little and backed out and there was the guy, standing in the entrance of CVS watching me as I pulled out with the HUGEST grin on his face... it was so
