Holes behind rear bowtie?

I found a thread for a vendor that makes SS emblems for the back of the car, I saw it comes with guide pins tells me there will be holes if I remove mine. But it sounded like only 2010s have holes

Can someone confirm if there are holes in the trunk lid of a late 2011? I wanna just remove the bowtie for now.

No holes on an 2011. You can take off your bowtie and not put anything in its place if you so choose.

We removed our bowtie to install an LED lighted one and there were no holes. We have a 2011.

No holes on 2011 and up. Only 2010's. Sparks makes them with or without the locator pins.
