On my 2012 2ls it was already in the car just buried under the instrument cluster. I had to remove that which was super easy and disconnect the module from its hiding place and run it up to the windshield. I had to buy the relocation mounting kit from a gm oem site for like $90. Search the forum for the remote start and there was a link to the gm site where I bought it.

Yeah sounds nice... It's still snowing on and off so I just rubbed her hood in the garage and said soon baby soon....

Ok, I got my precut remote start key today. Programed it myself ( not the remote start part)... Life is great... I also installed the steering controls ( very simple) and the PDIM thing... Watch out for sharp plastic on this one.. Waiting on the bluetooth onstar module then off to get all programed at the same time... Then life will be perfect..

I have the Roto-Fab CAI and MRT v2 exhaust. Love the combination of the sound & just with CAI alone I felt it opened the car up a little bit. Gave it a noticeable upgrade in sound and pep. Then I really was happy when I added the exhaust a month or so later.

Everyone will probably suggest you buy what THEY have... just because that's what they like. Best way to decide is check out the exhaust thread at the top of the v6 forum. Lots of clips there to help you decide what exhaust you like the best. Or, listen to some in person if you know some Camaro owners in your area.

Snapperhead, I see you have a bunch of Fiero's, is the 86 with the ZZ4 350 Crate Motor, I had a ZZ3 Crate Motor in my 85 Firebird, Fast MF. I also have a Fiero, It's an 84 Electric Car, (20) 6V Batts (120V), I had it up to 70 MPH on the HWY

I was going to get the CAI but I like the Roto-Fab better after some research. My only question is... Is there a difference between an oiled filter and a dry one? Does one give better performance than the other?

I just finished installing a Roto-Fab maybe an hour ago. I wasn't ready for the sound. Ahahah That baby is loud but I think I'm going to like it. I'd do it again if I had to and it only took about an hour in my garage.

Yepp! the zz4 is in the 86 GT... I like it. I thought of doing an electric Fiero but have never done it..

I love all my cars.... After 20+ years of marriage cars have become girlfriends and I love them all, but I do play with some more than others...
