ASR should not be misunderestimated. KITT does not like insults... KITT get's mad. (joke meaning it's really a nice advanced system that can save your life and why bitch about it?). KITT wants you to run fast just nut burn up tires.

KITT = stabilitrak and it's subsystems.

If Competitive mode is like the Corvette, it is NOT an everything off mode. It is just a little more forgiving and will allow more wheel spin can will be more forgiving in allowing the car to get sideways before activating the Active Handling system. For the Corvette everything OFF requires that you hold the button down for 5 seconds.

Also may be worth noting, if configured like the vette, the active handling is programmed to have a quicker response time when traction control is turned off.

its a great feature to have, and on competitive mode (which is the setting I always drive on), it lets you get a little sideways and spin the tires some before the computer kicks in. Actually makes you look pretty heroic without risking your expensive ride too much. And you can always turn it off for burnouts.
Ahh i see...so it doesnt just cut the power it applies the brake for you...thx for clearing that up...

"wow nice launch dude "yea all me bro all me" LMAO
Oh please, it's no different than using a 2-Step to help launch the car.

All it does is keep the RPM at a constant level.

I'm just messing with ya Milk. I have a '69 and a '70 that have over 400hp and they are a handful. Having said that, my 2001 SS has 350hp and it's point and go. The new stuff is so well engineerd, it's nothing compared to the older stuff.
