Is that the "real" Bumble Bee? I haven't seen TIII yet, so don't know for sure. I love the front end on it. The stripes and hood scoops on it are great and much better looking than anything I've seen thus far. Too bad it's not an option (to include the exact paint color ... but sure it's available through the aftermarket). Plain Arctic White is not my favorite color for a muscle car ... red is at the risk of being cliche. JMHO though. Great pics Becky ... I do like the stipes on your car. FFR had one of their "33 Hot Rod" builds at Power Tour a couple of years ago. They had gloss black stripes on a flat black paint job ... it looked awesome. Seems yours has the same type of effect. I dig the concept, even on a white car.

For goodness sakes, it's a prototype and the car hasn't even gone into production yet. Give GM some time to make some tweaks here and there. The end product, I would suspect, will be freakin' awesome.

That is what he looks like in TF3 yes.. I'm not a fan of the wing, but he pulls off the look fairly well.

Did not have time to read thru the entire thread - but to clarify a couple of things:
the white ZL1 is not a show car - rather, it is a Milford Proving Ground Car -- Mary Barra - our Senior Vice President for Global Product Engineering drove it to the show (along with her husband and one of her children -- thus the soda can in the console) It is not in 'finished trim' - so don't jump to conclusions about the final appearance - (......the purpose of this vehicle????? - let's just say it's ![]() ![]() )There are only two show cars - both are bright red - one has the standard black wheels - the other has the optional silver/machine finished wheels.

Just nice to get an idea of what the ZL1 would like in
another color besides the red. Plus for me seeing in the white was a real bonus . I am guessing that thered show cars are also not the finished product as well.

No need to guess, nothing is final as of yet. It will remain that way until we see the final product as endorsed by GM.

I believe that the most likely reason that the black wheels are standard and that the silver/machine finished wheels are optional is that the silver/machine finished wheels are more expensive to manufacture than the black wheels are. Do you have a rough idea of how much more expensive the silver/machine finished wheels are to manufacture compared to the black wheels?
