Good call. I looked at the LS7 picture, but seeing that it has an aftermarket hood, that might be why I didn't see the nozzles in the bulge. Good find.

Maybe in BC you get the good stuff, but I've seen alcohol-based stuff, rated to not freeze until -25F, freeze...and I've never seen -25F.

I wish somebody had sent that memo to my '97 Pontiac. It was really cold/nasty out, I ran the defroster full blast for an hour...then as soon as I put the scraper to the windshield it cracked. Dealer wouldn't cover it under warranty, despite it being a design/manufacture defect IMO (it wasn't cracked by an impact).

Really? Was it necessary to use a red arrow in a mostly red picture?

You no live close enough to hell. In VT, I had to buy the Prestone winter washer fluid. It works much better. Bye-bye Mr. Winter - ahole.

it was cracked by pressure being applied to a hard surface that was freezing on one side and heated on the other.
its not a defect, you just pushed too hard. ive seen it happen on all sorts of cars, and seen it not happen on all sorts of cars.

I didn't want it to clash with the paint job. So, does anyone know what in the world that is over there (that the arrow is pointing to)? It looks like thre is a hose or wire running to it.

I didn't press hard, I barely touched it. It was ready to crack and if a pile of snow landed on it, that would have cracked it instead. It wouldn't have been that way if it wasn't for the defroster, and it was a defect because those conditions should have been expected by the designer.

That's great for a show car. Most states however have laws that require wipers, even if you have no windshield. Several years ago a friend of mine took the windshield off his jeep, wipers included, went for a drive and got a ticket for no wipers. No windshield was legal..

Yep as stated they are mounted to the bottom of the hood.

Looked for these specificaly at the autoshow here in phoenix, its a great place for them IMO... makes waxing the hood that much easier.

I'm glad they integrated them so nicely. On my 1970 Cutlass there is a small cowl opening with vents between the hood and windshield and they hid the nozzles in there. On my Cobalt there is a black plastic panel between the hood and windshield that has the nozzles and is also where the wipers rest. Not as good as the Cutlass, but better than the nozzles on the top of the hood by a long shot. This is just one more piece of evidence that GM thought about the little details that add to overall quality for the Camaro. It may seem trivial on its own, but it assures me that this won't just be a good performance car, it will be a good car, period.

Breaking the speed limit is against the law to.... Think everybody here isnt going to break the speed limit in a new Camaro SS???? :MOON: The only thing they can do is give you a fix it ticket. Just bring the car up to the court house with the wipers on and they drop it. You dont even have to pay court cost.
