The GT with the 5.0L (if its the only V8 GT option) wont be more than the SS. It would ruin their marketing, and there has already been a confirmed 2012-14 BOSS Mustang which will fit between the GT and GT500.... you have to leave yourself some room.

Im hoping so, the 392 Hemi crate engine currently nets around 515hp on an N/A engine, if they put that in an SRT8 Challenger i think they may just win me over, haha now thats what Mopar's all about, monsterous tourque breathing dragons XD

What i would hope for is that they put the 392 (i calculated around 6.384L so yeah 6.4 is a good estimate) in the new SRT8 Challenger and Charger and drop the 6.1L down to the R/T cars, then take steps to improve the economy of the 6.1...that'd be my competition strategy if i were a big wig at Dodge

thats fine man, im just writing about how the current camaros r better than the current mustangs. im not talking about the whole life story. this paper isnt going to have to be revised every year lol its 1 assignment. i stared this off just talking about the current ones and now this thread has gone to the past and all the way to xbox vs playstation lol

That'd burn a big hole in their wallet if they do engine swaps like that though. But it'd be great! That'd even the playing field between the SRT8 vs. GT500 vs. Z/28 and the GT vs. SS vs. R/T...

Not really, the SRT would still weigh 300lbs more, and have 50hp less!!

Yeah but as it stands it still competes with the GT500. It'd close the gap a lot more...
