Here's mine
Just over 2k miles and 80 miles round trip every day. Absolutely love this car. I've had V8 Camaro/TAs since 1976 and I like this one best. Not seen another like mine and any LS is pretty rare. Its like a blank canvas; SS Brembos and mufflers will fit (so I hear), got a set of 20" midnight silver LT tires and rims for $800 from the dealer I might put on at some point and maybe a few other things, but there is plenty of time for that. Hell, I just might buy another LS just to mod!
Here are a few of a base LS and btw I get comments every day...rly...every day. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1790

I drive a 1LT daily. I recently drove an SS to compare and the although the SS has more power the ride of the LT was much smoother. Since the roads around there get pretty bumpy I'm glad I went for the LT.

After reading some of the horror stories on here about the replacement costs of the higher end rims and tires I'm glad I went with the full rubber and the steel rims too. I agree, the roads in this area are not like the ones in the warmer states, some of the potholes here have zip codes! LOL!! ![]() ![]()

LS is my daily driver, it has exceeded my expectations. With the stick it is fun to drive.
Got the LS because none of the factory options appealed to me and I have always gotten base (or very near base) in any new car I have purchased because of the value for the dollars. Usually the base model has all the same important stuff as the tricked out models; engine, drive train, chassis, etc. But of all the base cars I have purchased over the years, this one is by far the most capable and full-featured To the LS I have added the things I wanted - so far hockey/hood stripes, Flowmaster Axle back exhaust, a Stent locking gas cap, and billet trim around the reverse lights. And I just got a Barton shifter that I am getting installed next week. I really wanted a white shift ball and waited till they were available for the Barton. For the first time since I got it I haven't got a "next mod" in mind (I like the steelies) but I have my eyes open and this forum is a great source of ideas. I would get the gauge pack if it was about half its current price. Every time I get the idea I am interested I look at the price and pass. I would have liked black, but for a daily driver I knew it would be too hard to keep clean. The silver is as easy as it gets to clean, I keep it thoroughly waxed and during the week, when I get home I take off the dust in less than a minute with a California duster and it looks just washed. The dust just slides off the wax. Haven't got the gas mileage I was hoping for, but then again I haven't kept the RPM's down, the car wants to be driven :-). Good luck in your purchase and have fun.
