Since you were talking about snow.... This was taken early January after a foot of snow. The car is a blast to drive in the winter and North Dakota doesn't salt roads. The last picture was taken a couple weeks ago after I waxed my car. If you notice the "bombs" under the wing of the Cessna 340, they are actually acetone/silver iodide burners. I fly the airplane through thunderstorms (unreal awesome with heavy lightning) for a weather modification project. We use the chem. mix to do our best to increase rainfall while reducing the size of hail. Man I love my job....

Haha I have a picture somewhere of my old '89 RS buried in snow like that. Too bad it's back in the states and I would have to scan it.

As someone who mostly can't stand stripes I have to offer my view. LOL

IMO the stripes take away from the sharp muscular lines of the car itself. Instead of looking at the powerful rear haunches, sharp sexy creases, and the bird of prey-like front end that looks as if it's ready to rip it's prey to shreds, the stripes draw most of your attention away from those aspects (which are the most important imo) and onto themselves. They are too distracting to the styling of the car.

I personally find the Convertible Concept nowhere near as menacing as the silver coupe. (The fact that Orange doesn't do anything for me doesn't help the stripes any.)

They're for different effects. The vert is more of a fun car to show off.

It's heavier than the coupe, so true die hard race fans will get the coupe instead

The convertible is a much better car for cruising during the day and down crowded streets at night, where styling is more important because you're not breaking the speed limits.

For people that want adequate power, but want to spend some time showing off the beauty of the camaro, the vert is better imho.

What good are the sharp muscular lines, the powerful rear haunches, sharp sexy creases, and the bird of prey-like front end that looks as if it's ready to rip it's prey to shreds if all the person sees is the taillights?

Remove the stripes from the convertible and it will look just as good.

My argument wasn't coupe vs convertible. It was stripes vs no stripes.

And, to me, the stripes just draw everyones attention away from what makes the car look good. That's just me.

And I can cruise around just as nicely in my coupe (w/sunroof) as I could in a convertible. Trust me, I'll be doing it often. LOL

Nice "fleet" dgraves. (That Vette is particularly sweet. )
I like that it's all GM!

As for the "stripe v. no stripe" issue; it's all a personal thing.

I've never had a car with stripes. I like the "clean" look. That being said, I've been thinking of stripes once I get a 5th Gen. I've always liked the stripes on the '69 Z28, and seeing the Concept 'vert in person....it's got me thinking.

Bottom line; stripes or no stripes, all Camaro's are great!
