If GM wants to get >50% more money for their cars in Europe, they should put a factory up here in Germany where we can build HQ "Autobahn" editions.

The letters "HQ" would definitely sell a lot better in Europe than the letters "SS". It's a historical thing.
HQ = ?

Looks like I might have to get my SS2/RS from Florida. The Chevy dealer here couldn’t get the Silverado SS or the trailblazer SS. I guess because they don't export those models for the Caribbean. I know one thing for sure, someway somehow I am getting mine!!!!

+RS stuff-> + HID (800) + colored RDM (300) + 20" rims (0-already included) + unique tail lamps (100) + different badging (0)
= $1200

Total 2SS/RS-> $ 34,595 **MY GUESS**

It's also like getting the SS for $30,245 w/o the destination charge which is what most all companies show on the main page for MSRP before you build the car anyway. So getting the car for a window sticker of 30,995 for a 1SS is right in line with what should have been expected by most. I'm sure many hoped it would be closer to $28-29K since that's what they used to be, but honestly look how much more you get...Independent Rear Suspension, 100 more HP than before and a much improved interior to name a few.

This car is a STEAL and will sell like hotcakes!!!!!

p.s. my guess for a 2SS/RS is $33,795
The V6 will sell like hotcakes. The V8 will have issues selling anything but the base model with no goodies.

Seems low to me - don't get your hopes up.....
Agreed, more like $3600 (see above)

Weight and torque kinda puts a damper on all that. The 300 hp mustang will beat the 300 hp camaros in most races. But I think that the base Camaro is an alternative for some mustang GT buyers. Problem is, there are a lot more V6 mustang buyers out there that don't want to pay an extra $4000 for the base Camaro

Sounds about right. It might be a bit more, GM tends to do that to us. Still, less than 27 000 for the V6 up here. The SS will probably be ~37 000 for us.

I've got it covered
"They" never said much of anything. I believe it was Fbodfather that said initially it was set closer to a 50/50 split and that this pre-ordering would allow them to get a much better feel for what the final production percentage would actually be geared towards. My take on that was production would START out pretty even, V8 to V6, and adjust accordingly as time alotted. Just my .02

Yeah i've did it before, just that I wish I didn't have to deal with the headache. I'll be heading up to Miami as soon as they hit the showroom floor. Although he did say he might be able to special order it for me!
