Insurance Premium Went Up

Just got my 6 month renewal notice. Went up $15 from last time. It's around $800 a year now.

All you bad Camaro drivers need to stop crashing your cars. Your raising my rates. As the old guy on Hill Street Blues used to say, "lets be careful out there".

It's most likely the uninsured dregs driving beaters causing the increased premuims.

Speaking of which, I saw one this morning half off the side of the I-64 pretty mushed. At least once a week someone buys it on that corner, unfortunately, this morning it was a nice black Camaro.

there's lots of people paying more than $800 a year for the car (not me), but there are. When I lived in MD, I payed $2700 a year for one vehicle. Now, my rates are much lower But, I've had friends in the insurance business and for many many years, the Camaro has been a 15 out of 15 on the insurance risk, in the top group of high risk cars to insure. Now that the 2010's are out, it may be a 16 out of 15. of course, they may use a different scale now.
