Full tank of gas effect?

So maybe its just a placebo affect....but does anyone notice that the car is "jumpier" when they have a fresh full tank of gas?

I swear she feels estatic when I fill her up every 2 weeks. I dunno maybe I am talking out of my butt

Can't say that I feel a difference in the car when it's full, but I'm certainly ecstatic when the tank is full. I just want to drive it until it's empty.

Well she's about 8 pounds heavier per gallon.

Might be the placebo effect... I find just the opposite. When the car is very low on fuel it feels slightly faster. If I remember right a gallon of fuel weighs 6 lbs, so with a full tank you're lugging around some extra weight.

, lol I fill mine up like every 2 days. Actually I fill her from 1/2 full about every 4-5 days, I should stop driving her so much as that would eleviate 90% of my gas consumption issues, but I can't she's too powerful .

I have no idea, the tank drains too fast for me to notice...

Well, I must talk out of my butt, too. I filled up on Sunday after letting the tank drop to about 3 gallons (for no particular reason other than conveniece of when I went to the station). Yesterday, she seemed really peppy. Maybe not faster exactly, but zippy somehow. Probably all in the head, though.

Fill up the tank then wash the car ........you will be AMAZED at how fast your car feels. Cheap power and they are both necessities for the car anyway..beats spending thousands on a supercharger.

No butts about it! Mine feels the same way when I fill her up after being down at a quarter.

maybe it helps with weight distribution and traction so you grip and go instead of burning out.
