I just talked to my friend with the Avalanch, he has a seperate bulb for the high beams, but his wifes XB is just one bulb and he bought her HID kit off of ebay for $260 they are Phillips brand, DOT approved, have two seperate bulbs for low and high beams and it came with the wiring harness. If people are torn on whether or not to get the RS and it is strictly because of HIDs then the aftermarket bulbs is the cheaper beter way to go. Now if you want the halo's, roof moldings, tail lights ect... then RS package all the way.

We made it back to Michigan! After two long days in the car (and way more traffic than past years) we are home to Michigan. A lot less snow than before we left, but we were treated to some freezing rain over night through the morning
My journey in the Camaro is over for now, but my husband will continue on to Toronto tonight and Oshawa in the morning--I have instructed him to take pictures at both places! I have more pics to post and now that I have more time I will sift through the thread and answer as many of your questions as I can. Thanks for sharing the "roadtrip" with me--It was a lot of fun! (More fun than we usually have in an SUV on the same trip ) Heather

I checked the fuel door too...It does not lock. I checked our other GM vehicles and they don't lock either. Thankfully it has never been an issue for us, but I am sure there are some people out there who would take advantage of it not locking?
