Revive=AWESOME

So I did my second full blown detail Monday. Clay, SHR, FMP, MSW. But after the FMP I put on the Revive by hand. And my paint looked amazing afterwards. I read that it made the paint look "deep" but I never really knew what that meant until I used it. I was going to use my PC to put it on but was unsure of the speed or amount. I think I still put to much on by hand but oh well it still looked great. Here are some pics.

What is the sense in using Swirl and Haze Remover, Machine Polish, Revive Polish? They are all polishes. Why would you want to do this 3 times?

They are different abrasiveness.

SHR- for heavier damage, use with PC or by hand
FMP- to repair the damage SHR does and restore the luster, use with PC
Revive- for use by hand to remove minor imperfections.

Looks great. Next time you wash, finish drying then apply a coat of Brilliant Glaze, followed by a coat of Americana wax. You will be blown away. Plus you will have superb protection by layering the MSW with Americana.

My next order should be here tomorrow. When I did this same treatment (SHR, FMP, MSW) on my hood and rear deck a couple weekends ago, I was doing the final step of MSW and needed a place to put the bottle and ended up putting it on the roof of my wife's Xover vehicle and forgot about it. It got lost somewhere between our house and her work. I noticed my MSW was missing last weekend when I was attempting to do the whole process on my roof. I got to the final step and couldn't find my MSW. I looked high and low and it was simply gone. After wondering where it was it finally dawned on me what I did. Oops. Anyhow, I ordered a replacement bottle but, also figured I'd treat myself to a can of Americana. I've kept my car in the garage all week because I didn't want to contaminate what I've already done since I didn't have any wax on the roof. Once I get my shipment, I'll wipe any dust off and use the MSW, let that cure and then remove and buff out. Then I'll give the whole car a quick wash and hit it with the Americana. I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

You'd be better off to wait at least a day for the Americana. MSW likes to set up over 24 hours, it's not uncommon to need to do a second wipedown the day after you apply.

It's more like mandatory.
