I didn't buy mine as a collector to set in a garage all winter even though my VIN is low at 8002.
We get little snow in western Oregon but do get a lot of rain from November to March.
When we do get snow or ice, it, {the car} stays put. ODOT does not use salt on the roads, they do use 1/4" crushed rock they call "sand". I just avoid busy traffic areas after they use rock to avoid rock chips.

it irritates the hell out of me having a monthly payment and not being able to drive my car for the most part. the wife drives a subaru legacy and we carpool to work 4 days out of the week.. any chance of snow, she's driving, and we rotate weeks driving otherwise.

definitely paying cash for the next car. I think it will bug me less.
