K&N Typhoon CAI
those that have purchased the K&N Typhoon CAI part #69-4519TP....are you satisfied with this system?? i have read several threads but just want some added feedback.
reason i ask is gmpartsdirect has a march madness sale and it is priced at 269. i was going to get a roto-fab but i could save like 150 if i go with the k&n. |

Had the KN for a month and couldnt be happier .....noticeable power increase .....and that throaty sound as you accelerate is worth it ..which now has led me to consider the flowmaster axle back exhaust ....

Who the hell is selling a rotofab for $400+. It can be found for 300-350 all day long. FWIW, Most vendors here on C5 sell the K&N Typhoon for $250. Sounds like the GM March maddness sale is just a case of March moodiness.
 FWIW, if you're looking for performance, there are MUCH better options than the K&N and for not a whole lot more $$. The Halltech Yellowjacket is priced at $349 (maybe cheaper if you call the shop). For that you get 100% more average HP gain, 67% more peak HP, and 100% more peak tq. Results per the Jannetty CAI test.

I have a K&N and it's fine but I'm thinking about a Vararam now that they seem to have worked out the bugs.
