K&N CAI Self install on synergy

Installed the K&N typhoon series cai. pictures tell it all. Thanks for all the info on this site I must of checked it like 3 or 4x while installing. I disconnected the fuses 5 & 20 ECM and also the battery, for the total duration of the install which was about a good 2 hours or so. The only thing was that where the compass is it said CAL which means to calibrate the compass and all that takes is you driving for a second and itll pick up the signal, brsides that Im completely thrilled about my CAI works great I feel the extra HP

All I have to go by is feeling and yes as soon as I installed It and drove it I did feel a new burst when I drove however it can all very well be psychological but IMO I did feel a gain but I think Im used to it already so I cant really tell anymore.

Your not going to see any large power increase unless you
completely seal off the intake and remove the washer bottle.
once you do this the difference is significant.

Note that at the CAI shootout done by jannetty over on the
V8 side only the intake that removed the water bottle had a
large HP increase

I'm not sure if it counts but the intake from k&n comes with dyno results for a v6 completely stock and then when they put on the inTake and it shows a gain on hp and torque

Hey GreenMonster, glad we are both happy with our exhaust!!!

Wont get a dyno from me. Im happy with it, is all that matters to me, i could feel better Performance, but the sound is what i most after, and K&N's warranty. Im very happy.

Doesn't really count... especially since I believe K&N dyno's with the hood open...
