? I have read not to do this hard on suspension.

I over inflate by a few pounds (some say park on Styrofoam.)
I still get flat spots but they go away after driving a mile or two.
I use fuel stabilizer (full tank of gas )and park on a tarp in my garage with car cover. And use a battery tender.
next winter I plan on using moth balls and ???? to detour mice chipmunks.
? Any ideas here.

If you do that and let the suspension hang you are doing damage to your struts or shocks. They where never designed to handle the unsprung weight hanging on them.

That's almost funny... I had some funky noises coming from the heater fan in my SUV a year ago - thought it was a problems with the bearings, but once they got in there, found wool blanket parts, toilet paper parts, twigs, grass - a mouse had built a nest in the fan motor!! Guess it's pretty common in the SUV I have... It's happened twice to me in a year....
