Just got a update from GM tracking. My car shipped today.

Another update. Got email today that the stripes were in for my convertible.( the ones the dealer forgot to order) Later in the day got another e-mail to call the salesman. Called to find out that they had ordered coupe stripes thinking they were the same as convertible, which we all know they are not.(that's why you order factory stripes) So, they won't have them for another week, and I am not taking the car until it is the way I ordered it. Hell, I waited since December 23, 2010 what's one more week, besides the forecast for the next week is cold and rainy. Can you guess what I think of my dealer?

Sorry it took me a few days to post pics.. But I've been busy driving her... 227 miles down 100k+ to go.. have to get clips for Tonneau put on.. my dealer didn't do it before he dropped it off for me..

That car is AWESOME. Its the same way I ordered mine. You have very good taste.

Congrats Longislandave! See, you might have had the last one built inour TPW, but you took delivery before a bunch of us. ENJOY!!!!!!!

My 'Vert has been sitting in a railyard (2 hours away) for a week as of today waiting for a car carrier to bring it to my dealership, so I stopped in to ask my salesman when to expect delivery. My salesman made several calls, then asked if I'd be interested in driving my car back if he could get the railyard to release it to him. Hell yeah! I'm finally getting to see and drive my car tomorrow morning! I should be officially taking ownership Saturday morning!!!

Looks good Mick, something the Stig would drive for sure. Now if only my dealer would get the stripes they forgot to order I'd be out there with you.

Talked to my dealer and then GM again today about what is going on with my car. Three weeks, and no movement. I'm being told that they don't have any of the "special two tiered rail cars" that they use to transport the Camaros, and that is why it hasn't moved. Those type of excuses are getting a bit old at this point.

It only took 17 days to build, now it hasn't moved an inch in 21 days.
