I think what happens is we tend to have our few experiences and in our minds it was a ton. If I had to guess, I'd say I've had maybe 20 3rd and 4th Gen Camaro owner who gave any response to my car at all, the nearly two years I've had it, and I maybe got a non-reaction from 12 of them and a pleasant reaction from 2 and a shitty reaction from 6.

Easily the highest negetive reaction.

And I don't consider a few revs or wanting to race to be a negetive reaction. Unless they are doing it to be dicks.

I'd say most just don't pay attention. Second most are pretty cool. Third most are fun rivalry guys and gals and then some nose thumbers and last and smallest are the dicks. And really, there aren't a lot of those. They just stand out more.

We sure like to stroke our own ego in this forum. Meh, I like them all. There are Mustang owners here and there are Camaro owners in Mustang forums, so what? Some are friendly rivalry and if you are open-minded enough, you can enjoy both Mustang and Camaro and double the pleasure and knowledge of your car hobby. I learned that lesson and boy, it is more fun to be in the company of car guys than being limited to just 1 car or brand. Some of you guys are taking it tooooo seriously.

I get lots of thumbs up from Challenger drivers. Generally, I'll get a thumbs up from a Mustang driver if I give them one first.

Of all drivers, the 3rd Gen Camaro drivers are the worst, at least from my experience. I don't know if it's jealousy or they're rocking an Iron Duke. They just look away whenever my car is near.

When the new Mustang first came out people who drove them waved at each other. After a while people who drove GT's never waved at V6's. People who drive Mustang V6's didn't seem to get the whole muscle car thing anyway so no one bothered waving. Easy to tell a V6 from a GT so easy to tell who to wave at.

Since the new Mustang has been out and they are a dime a dozen no Mustang drivers are waving anymore. They don't acknowledge each other so they aren't going to acknowledge a Camaro.

None of this has anything to do with horsepower. I wave at Camaros when I'm driving my Camaro and I don't wave at anyone when I drive my Mustang.

When my wife drives her Mini she waves at other Mini's and they ignore her as well so there you go. Soon no one will wave at anyone until the next got to be different car comes out and they can all wave at each other for awhile.
When I ride in my sister-in-law's mini, peace signs fly out everywhere amongst her and other mini owners. Maybe it's just the area though.

Last night at the drag strip there was a group of us SoCal Camaro guys. There was also a group of Challenger guys. So we ran against them all night. Was a lot of fun, and they're cool people. The few Mustang guys there just kept to themselves.

I will say that it's much funner to watch a football game with fans from both teams and not just one.

Its alot of things that drive people to react a certain way to each other.

When i drive I am sure people waved at me, and i just didn't notice them. I wont do the flashing light thing cause that is used to signal a cop is up the road. I wonk honk because it just annoys me to hear a car horn (people are usually rude with them).

As far as mustang vs challenger owners they are about the same, just depends how they are. But personally the most self richous aholes i have met have been 5gen camaro owners. I went to a camaro meet 6 months back and all i saw was a bunch misinformation being spread to wow the next gullible owner ............ kinda like quite a few people on this site

and on the 2010's I look at the Size of the GT lights, or lack thereof.

V6's with the pony package generally have the much smaller fog lights where the GT lights would be.

and the GT fog lights...well... you know what they look like. Big.

What meet was this? I've kinda found most to be honest where I've been. You can't really BS others who know the deal.
