I think you made a wise choice. Not that I'm biased, I've had excellent results with my Hotchkis set up.
Thanks Hotchkis for the props.
It seems like the Hotchkis equipped cars get raced a lot more than any other suspension equipped camaros, and they are the cars that win.
Duel in the desert.
Camaro5fest 2.
Super Chevy.

Besides the ride quality is great.

Although price alone should not be your deciding factor I'm just surprised you found Hotchkis to be more expensive.....unless the guy you're getting a quote from put a nice markup on them.

You might look around at pricing some more. For Hotchkis stuff I found that Maryland Speed or Apex always had a very good price or if you can find someone with a racer's account at Jegs that was definatley the cheapest way I found to buy Hotchkis stuff.
You must have bought them on sale. I've always seen the Hotchkis stuff a little more expensive than the Pfadts. If you search MS's site, he's 10% more expensive than Chase on the Pfadts.

OP: I got the Pfadts for the same reason you went Hotchkis. I wanted more than the standard 1in drop and the Pfadt drop was perfect for me. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours.

We are also currently the only suspension manufacturer building parts for the 5th Gen Camaro who offers a NASA contingency program.

Not to get too nitpicky here, but there are plenty of people who race and win on our components. We are a company built and staffed top to bottom by people who race. Our parts are also on the GT Class winning AutoHaus Motorsports car in GrandAM, as well as the Total Performance Racing Camaro in World Challenge.

Be sure to check us out with our Camaro at the Spectre 341 Hillclimb in Reno on June 17-19th!

Guess it really does depend on who you order through; I found PFADT to be the better price for the various 'kit' levels and what came with them--or other pieces required to buy to achieve same level of modications.

also wasn't worried about 1/4 of 1 inch difference in drop....(the width of a pencil...heh..heh...).

I think this goes to what was already said...coke vs pepsi...ford vs chevy...personal preference. I bet every new suspension owner is happy with the improved performance.

Both are good imo, I had Hotchkis on a previous car and it was great, but Pfadt has very good customer support.

I had an issue with noise and they helped me. One of my wheels got curbed and they're helping me with replacement links (they contacted me!). I think I'd go with them for the direct support here on the forum.

I will be sure to post some before and after pictures.

Thanks again for your help!

Obviously I may seem to be another "biased" guy considering I am running Pfadt on both my cars, however we do sell almost all brands suspension for the 2010 Camaro and I can still recommend different parts for different uses.

Both brands offer great quality parts and are considered to be 2 of the top names in the market! I have had several Hotchkis parts on several of my Vehicle that I have raced.

But I would like to mention that my Pfadt equipped Camaro won the auto-x event at the Duel In The Desert, won the street tire auto-x class at the Camaro5 Fest 1, came in 3rd place overall at the Camaro5 Fest 2 (losing only to Pfadts own race car as well as Conrad in his D1 Drift Car), Fastest 5th Gen at the LS Fest in Bowling Green and has many more wins in various LS/Camaro based events!

We have built probably 10-15 road racing Camaro's at our shop and have done so with great success! I do find that the Pfadt Racing parts are an awesome option for anybody looking for the best of the best in handling performance. My opinion is of course only one of many, however I would not have been able to have had such great success at the tracks without Pfadts parts! And my car has over 37000 of haaaaard miles to prove it

I have the Pfadt and love them. No matter which one you get also get the end links. The stock ones are a joke. Bushings plus install cost about as much and make whatever system MUCH better.
