Bug remover???
Does anyone have a good brand of bug remover??? No matter how I clean the front end, I cannot get the bugs off well. Of course we got a black camaro, so everything shows up on it!

When your washing your car rinse the front first. As you clean each section, keep wetting the front end. By the time the rest of the car is clean and rinsed wash and rinse the front. Bugs loosen up pretty fast if they get wet for a while. No big deal.

Here's what I do, I use that Prestone bug and windshield washer fluid. Put it in a spray bottle, spray it, let it set for a minute, then wipe it with a microfiber towel. Works great, I use it on my motorcycle too.

I have always only used warm soapy water. Even on my black Camaro it works fine for me. The strongest solvent I use on cars is lacquer thinner to remove tar and paint. I guess you could try that if nothing else is working.

I have one of those sponges that you can find in any auto accessories store, like Pep Boys for example, where it's got a mesh on it that acts like a scrubby but it's safe for auto painted finishes. I use that with Turtle Wax: Bug & Tar Remover, and it comes out fine.
I don't know if Black is more difficult or not, my Camaro is Yellow, but it does work.

Dryer sheet dipped in your wash bucket at the end of your wash. Don't know why it works, but it does and I've used it for years.

The best thing to do is put as many coats of wax on the front as you can after you clean it so the bugs just wipe off next time.
As for current bugs... I would try a waterless spray, wipe and clay bar

The best I've found is Adam's Waterless Wash. I spray it on the front end (or anywhere there are bugs) and I let it sit for a minute. Then, they wipe or wash right off.

I always hit my front end with Rain-X bug and tar pre-wash spray gel about five mins before I start washing the car. It gets all the bugs off. You can also spray on your rear fenders if you're prone to doing burnouts. Takes the rubber right off.
