You want a navigation system? Too bad -- the Holden development crew figured you'd rather they spend the money on things like surgically precise steering and bourbon-smooth six-speed transmissions (besides, all new Camaros will offer OnStar turn-by-turn route guidance).

Muscle Master the storms a piece I traded it in for an iphone3G which I left originally for the storm and went right back , and know with 3.0 os coming in June so is turn by turn nav and , mms and voice record and video record and copy and paste and on and on so now theres nothing the storm can do that iphone cant. OHH and the turn by turn is actually quite awesome I have used it many a time on my Cobalt SS/SC to far destinations

Thanks for the cover camarino. I just thought that they would figure a 21st century sports car would have voice over. And besides the message center is between the speedo and tach so it should not be a big deal anyway.

It can be useful at times, but usually nobody uses it.

If you want nav. that badly, go get a Garmin or something.

I agree with Holden

The other benefit of OnStar is while you pay for the service, you don't have to mess with updating the maps. Also, I travel alone quite a bit and I can ask the OnStar operator to find something for me while driving. Like Starbucks on my route near I-95 at 5:30 in the morning.

LOL

Actually the turn by turn help thing from Onstar looks pretty cool the way it shows an arrow and how much further before you tun... that's all I need. I don't need a computer voice talking over my music...

The turn-by-turn feature does announce the turns just like the other nav systems. It mutes the music while it is announcing the turns. I believe all nav systems are really designed to be primarily voice prompts. You don't want to be watching the DIC or nav screen instead of the road. It's there for a reference.
