Anyone following the release date for the i5? Rumor has it that it's right around the corner! Although I'm not ready to ditch my i4 yet!

Last I read it looks like early October for the US/Canada launch. I'm still using a 3yr old 3GS so I'm about ready for an upgrade.

I keep hearing October. It'd be nice to finally see it and what kind of changes will be made that haven't been mentioned for iOS 5..

yea I've heard October as well. Though I'm more excited about iOS 5. (more specifically, iOS 5 being cracked so that I can jail break with it)

It was supposed to be out in June and got pushed back. Testing didn't go very well.
I've still got my 3gs because I couldn't see loosing data and text (without the price increase) for switching phones. The phone companies are getting even more greedy with each release.

I hope it's soon... My non-smartphone almost crapped-out yesterday, and I don't want to pay full price on an iPhone 4 when the next model is due for release soon...

it really stinks that AT&T got rid of the unlimited data plan for new customers. I still have it on my plan, and lets just say I'm never going to "upgrade" my plan.

i'm not following the release date, but when it does come out I will be getting it. I have an iphone 4 now and have had every version of the iphone.
