Been there done that, mine was built April 12, 2009 and didn't make to the dealership until June 16, 2009 (I live 45 minutes from the plant). Of course those were very turbulent time at GM with the Bankruptcy crap that was going on. Maybe you should start a thread called AREA 51 part deux, back in the spring of 2009 we start a group call AREA 51...long story but the same.

That's what I was thinking. Someone said it'd be delayed more because of the holiday weekend- but was thinking isn't that a US holiday? I wonder if a US company has off on a US holiday even if the plant / hq isn't IN the US.....

You're comparing a brand new production vehicle to a car that's been out 3 years?

I don't mind the wait- I just expect being told a good accurate estimate as to how long I'll likely have to wait.

Guys- just talked to my salesman.
No one, and I mean no one will be getting any information about why our cars are held up, or how long they will be held up.

My salesman said he'd guess my car will be here by the 20th, but just can't say for sure.

At this point- I'm going to just anticipate it taking at least another month, and be surprised if it comes in earlier.

Filling out paper work for financing probably next weekend, then put it in the back of my mind and just know it'll come in... eventually.

Your car was built 1 day before mine; I'm still bayed as well. If I recall correctly, your car will come through OKC before continuing on to Mesquite, TX, a UP distribution center. So, logic would dictate that we would get our cars at approximately the same time, me perhaps a day earlier.[but remember, logic does not seem to apply when we are dealing with being 'bayed', rail transit, and actual delivery of our vehicles.]
So despite our best efforts to figure out when our cars will arrive, I've come to the same conclusion as you, basically....IT WILL GET HERE WHEN IT GETS HERE!!! AARRGGHH! Certainly not a reality we want to live with though, is it? sigh.
