To all of my fellow Camaro5 friends who are waiting, wondering, and still don't have your cars, this is the thread for you! You can post your thoughts, your timeline, your story or post any information you may have which would help the others who are waiting. Ive been sitting for about 27 or 28 days patiently so far..soooo dont complain till you get to that.

Ive been sitting on 4B00 since 8/23. In quality control. Checking the cover for the top. Ground Effects package (big box) has been sitting at the dealers since 8/25 and Solo Performance Exhaust also sitting at the dealers. PLEASE HELP
2012 Black convertible with white stripes, gray interior, black top, ground effects, hurst shifter, rally sport. On 8/22 I went from 4B00 to 4200 to 4300 and back to 4B00.

Bill you probably went from 4B00 to 4200 when it was taken to get the stripes put on. Back to 4B00 when it was done. Now it's waiting, or back in QC.

GM makes no promises as to when any one individual will receive their car. It's always more inconvenient to order rather than buy off the lot.

That being said, a consumer has a right to complain when the product they ordered has an unreasonable delay. The definition of unreasonable varies from person to person. While you might be patient at 27 or 28 days, another person who has been bayed for 14 days could be about to travel to Oshawa to try and smuggle their car off the lot! Now, think about if you were to get to 45 days at 4B00 (god forbid!) and another guy is at 35 days, would it be wrong for them to complain just because someone has been waiting longer?

I get annoyed any time I read a post by a member that ordered an early 2010. "28 days...? Quit bitchin'. Way back in 2009, my car was in QC for eleventy-hundred days. Blah, blah, blah..." If my car is bayed for 5 days and I think it's too long, well guess what? It's too long. I'm the customer. I'm always right.

I received my car on 8/18 but my dealer has not seen a '12 yet for his lot either coupe or vert. They have 3 '11's remaining. I'm guessing that the cars must not be moving very fast from the factory. The salesmen are frustrated because they have nothing to sell.

You ordered a car 4 months before they actually started building them and you also ordered a car that had been out of production for 6 years. We ordered a car where the only difference from the previous year is the interior and the FE4 suspension. We also have cars already made and we are waiting to be shipped which is probably the same process for every car EVER built at this factory. STFU and color inside your own lines.
