For hooking up, read the last couple of pages of my Build Journal. I ditched the front sway bar for this run and am rethinking my suspension mods. Get that down and you should get those 20's to hook. ![]() Padre |

Lol @ all the idiots "correcting" their times for DA.
There is no such guarantee, stop living in fantasyland. You ran what you ran, and that's the end of it. |

I'll just point out a couple of the rules included in "Post #1"for those that find it necessary to make comments prior to putting their brain in gear.
"This is not a thread for extra conversation. This thread is for posting of 1/4 mile times and time slips ONLY!! All other posts will be deleted so please follow the format. There is a 1/4 mile discussion thread if you want to bench race." "#3. Track times will not be corrected for weather or track altitude (corrected times can be posted in the "unofficial" 1/4 mile thread). Those elements can be noted in the comment portion of the submission to clarify the conditions under which the run was made." LOL...just noticed that your elevation is 610 feet, c'mon up and play at 5000+ feet and you'll see why people wonder how they'd compare at sea level... |

Nothing wrong with posting up your Corrected numbers along with your "official" numbers. If I have time, I post the corrected number in the "unofficial" 1/4 mile.
And yes, comments need to be kept to a minimum in this thread. Real discussions/technical advise, etc should be posted in the discussion thread. But a "good run" comment is fine with me. Lets just have fun. We all enjoy running our cars down the 1/4 mile. That's all that really matters.

OK, so here is my first day ever at a drag strip...also first time EVER driving over 90 mph. LOL (Not submitted for consideration for fast time...just for fun!)
1st run I completely missed 3rd gear. Nerves REALLY play a part in this 1/4 mile track thing. WOW! I was a nervous wreck! Now looking forward to getting back out there and trying it again. I was in the right lane for both runs. My friend was in the left with her 2SS Automatic 2010 Camaro. My car is completely stock, daily driver. 1st run ever... RT ... .605 60 ... 2.292 330 ... 6.179 1/8 ... 9.596 MPH ... 69.41 1000 ... 12.725 1/4 ... 15.395 mph ... 84.04 ![]() 2nd run... RT ... .723 60 ... 2.194 330 ... 6.011 1/8 ... 9.047 MPH ...82.43 1000 ... 11.587 1/4 ... 13.721 MPH ... 101.75
