You must not have prepped the surface correctly for the plasti dip. Mine have lasted for about 5 months of sun, wind washing etc. Still looks like I did them yesterday. Either way your bezels came out nice!

I tried removing the bezels like in the video (GEEo's video) first one came off in less than a min. So I guess I will be doing this next weekend. Let me make sure I will be getting everything I need.

1., adhesion promoter
2. Paint. (Of course)
3. Sand paper
Then just take my time and do it. ??
Any other words of advice, other than what is on this post?

looks like your all good to go man. I suggest you getting a 180 grit sand paper. anything more than that will be to much and lower than that will take forever sanding the Bezels. lol

One more question, I have all the bezels off now. Is it ok to leave them off and still drive my car? This way I can work on them throughout the week.
Also does anyone have a picture of an IOM with painted bezels? (Wife says that it wouldn't look good black). LOL

About to do mine. Do you really need to sand them or will adhesion promoter stick to the chrome?

It's not neccesary to sand them down. But I sanded mine so the paint will stick better.

So if I want the bezels to be glossy I just spray gloss clear coat at the end?

Thats one way to do it. but you can also get a gloss black paint to have a shinny finish and clear is not really necessary. I guess its just a matter of preference. I didn't spray clear on mine.

I used flat black because I'm planning to put the Rear black out kit on mine.
