Some people just like to complain. It makes them feel better to know that they can figure something out that paid designers somehow "missed". They don't want to let themselves believe that we're not looking at the real headlights.

Uhhh,
Do you guys notice that the closer we get to the eminent release of this car, that there are more fans joining this website who are as excited as the more seasoned members once were? Sorry, STILL are?! I thinik that is what is getting me psyched!

If this car is as good as I think it will be, it will be a shining moment for GM. |

New guys (like me) love this thing too, so when the camaro comes closer and closer and closer to its realese, we come out of lurking and get into these threads, and with more and more pictures coming out, it get me (and other new guys) psyched out of our minds!!!
Now, about the headlights, true they more than likely (about 99% sure of it) wont make it to production, but imo those things look pretty sweet for "horrible" headlights, as Scott said they would be on the pre-productions. If they dont make it to production (they won't) i might get some made or buy them aftermarket (if i can get my hands on a new camaro, that is.) |

I am holding out hope the halos make final production. That may be a slim chance, but it's one of the aspects of the concept that just make the car. Evil, sinister, mischeivious looking. Just how a Camaro should look barreling down in the rear view mirror of some poor unsuspecting sap driving 50 in the fast lane

I noticed we have a lot of new members around here too ever since this stuff has come out. Looks like GM's move paid off. Now we just have to catch a lot of people up to what the difference between prototype and production is.

Just started thinking as I'm typing (and the adrenaline is starting to flow), every last person in my family, and everyone in my circle of friends knows excactly what the Camaro is...and that I plan to get it. I've had more than a few people look at pictures sideways with a "I'd kinda like one of those" look on their faces. Co-workers see the pictures, and the desktops on my computer. And I'm pretty sure that I'm not alone. Lots of people everywhere know what this car is. But what they don't know, is that it IS in fact coming. GM IS going to build it. And it WILL be priced well. My own Uncle saw my Bumblebee transformer toy, and asked "this is the one you want to get?". Conversation ensued, and he asked "So, what...they're probably gonna be expensive as hell, right? and expensive to fuel I'm sure. 37,000 to get into a V8, and 22mpg to deal with it?" I said "no, less than 30k to get into a V8, and 30+mpg to have fun with." The look on his face was priceless.... Anyways point being - we should all have a 'mini-mission' to let people know about this car. Transformers did a hell of a job, now lets add to that. |

, right! ![]() SO...found some pics of bumblebee @ NAIAS on the net, and he's wearing some new wheels, and got his eyes fixed. He can see soooo much better, now.![]() Anybody else think that, besides making him look further like the concept, this may be a wink that those are the lights the production car will be getting? I thought this was relavant to the thread, b/c it's the front of the car?
