If you already have the tune and the cable, it shouldn't cost you anything extra.

??... Ya, I got that. We are talking the revised tune, giving you extra HP, over the original tune.

The original tune offered minimum HP over stock. The 13 HP cam phasing tune was discovered in May 2011. You can get that updated tune at no cost. I don't recall ever seeing anything about Vince's tune offering 10 HP. The moment his cam phasing tune was discovered most of us made the call and picked that part of the tune up.

I don't think there was 10 RWHP to start with... there was only a couple HP...

my stock tune vs Vince's tune... (this was BEFORE he found the extra 13)

Pulled from another thread.

New and Improved Trifecta tune software available.
Now for the quick recap for those of you who might have missed it:

Vince with Trifecta tuning recently had a Camaro V6 on his dyno for additional testing. What he came away with was an additional 13 rwhp on a stock car with automatic tune running 89 octane gas.

(he posted a dynosheet but it has since been removed since the thread was removed)

Previously, it was found that on a stock car, little to no extra power could be had with a tune and it was really only good for modded cars. Automatic cars could opt for firmer shifting but thats another aspect of the tune. He achieved these results apparantly (from what I can remember) by altering the cam phase tables. Another thing to note about this tune is that these results only take place under WOT (from what Vince has said) but some people who have since recieved the update have said their car did feel great running the new tune.

Last thing, is these changes have been incorporated into all his tunes, and is free of charge for those that already have the tune (and a way to upload it to their vehicle of course).

Also, is the availability of the "ghost cam" tune which is an option and can be customized to the wants of the customer....

Again, just wanted to get this info out there for those that may have missed it!

Thanks Mike for the post . As I posted above I thought people knew the " Ghost Cam " was just for sound and the Tune is where the 13 HP came in .
Should have been more clear on that I guess .

All of this tune talk might as well be in japanese!

I dont understand the "tune" as far as can it be taken back to stock easily on your own and then back to tune?

Secondly can it be reversed so it does not void your warranty when you take it into get it serviced?

Also where do you hook this into your car to set this all up, it is all really confusing to me!

As long as you have a laptop - the EZ cable that comes with the tune and Vince sends you your factory sets back for you to reload.

What I have heard GM didn't put a counter on the LLT cars so yes you can reverse it as many times as needed.

There is a port under the drivers side of the dash you plug it onto. There are YouTube DIY videos if you do a search and also a diy on the bowtie site.

If any of this info is wrong someone please post up .

Yes, you can change back to stock at anytime. Yes, a tune will void your warrenty if it is determined to be the cause of the problem.

It is a wiring harness that hooks the lights together. I got mine from a guy named fieldgoal in another forum.
