***Update***
Asked RPI designs to send me label for shipping back wing, Josh(RPI) notified myself via email that fedex would pick up wing on (wed 12-7-11)and also stated I would be refunded the full amount as soon as the wing was "picked up" and to update this thread also. I then emailed back RPI wed night, obviously after my spoiler was "picked up"(since telephonic communication has been impossible so far)and asked if I should expect my refund in paypal. RPI(Josh) responded overnight with "you will be refunded when we get spoiler back" on the same email thread that stated I would be refunded when item was "picked up". I am no english teacher but "picked up" and "get it back" are two different things and timeframes. I emailed back again(on same email thread) and asked why the terms have changed and I have not been refunded?, obviously one happend already and the other will take a week?
NO RESPONSE- what a shocker...
and with no response still tonight, I disputed on paypal(today), item was picked up (wed. afternoon). If no response still item will be disputed with bank next week.
So I wait again...

Wow hope it all works out. I recently ordered some painted parts that were supposed to only take "two weeks". I was very nice every time i inquired about when i would be getting them. Right up until the very end. They arrived at my house 43 days later. My order per the email history had never even been touched until at least after a month had passed by. The kicker... After stating exactly what i wanted three different times and paying extra for it. They were not painted correctly. I asked for single stripes and got double stripes.They did however end up looking very nice and worked out fine even though it was a tad different than i was expecting. The quality was great, I did receive replies fairly timely just, the timeline was way way off and they never stated even why. Just things like we are working on it, almost got it and then after weeks and weeks them asking me what i even ordered. Funny since the Paypal invoice # was right in the email. Then just before they shipped "what is your address it isn't on the Paypal" Really, the 253 other Paypal transactions i performed this year had it on there. In the end it worked out for me and i hope it does you as well.

the worst experience i have ever had with a vendor.. R.P.I. SUCKS
wasted 2 months shipping theyre junk back and forth.

yea the spoiler need to be reshaped fiberglassed where the corners are broke off. shit just build your own L.O.L.

Josh has been good to me. Answers my pm's with in a day or two. I called once and had no problem. I ordered a color matched fuel door 3 weeks ago and Josh said defenderworx is on back order. Thinking about canceling as that money could go to suspension work.

Order painted taillight bezel and it took like 3-4 week. It would be nice to have a tracking number. Even though it took awhile to get my item it came fine and probably order again

AZ - I hope you get this worked out with RPI. In this case, it sound like there is more of a problem with the manufacturer of the spoiler than something that RPI did.

I have ordered a number if parts from RPI in the past and all were perfect. Yes, it takes longer because they are painted by them and a small shop. These are not manufactured pieces that come already painted. I would prefer someone to take their time than rush a painted part. Some patience is necessary when working with these type of vendors from both a service and delivery perspective.

***UPDATE**
Well the update is.. Nothing! Still no credit since item was "picked up" and now spoiler has been signed for and delivered at RPI, but still no credit or communication of any sort since last email attempt asking why RPI changed terms for credit. Now I still have nothing or even been told of any credit. paypal is empty.. Gotta love how once item was picked up all communication ceased again since my last email and five days have gone by. Actions speak louder then words and in this case no action speaks volumes.

spent all week fighting with RPI over emails and trying to get my refund, had no choice but to dispute it with the bank, who notified paypal, then RPI refunded it magically! then RPI attempted to file dispute for there refund back, so paypal blocked it, Dispute was then cancelled after I proved RPI received there shitty spoiler back, then RPI disputed it again, and blocked my money again and then threatened me in email saying that they had a personal paypal account and representative and that I would lose the dispute, RPI continued emails back to me saying "shame on me" and that I have "two refunds", and to "do the right thing and send one back", I told them over and over that I only had one refund in paypal and that when paypal notified my bank they would also stop there dispute. Over a two day timeframe, I spend over two hours on the phone and five phone calls with Paypal trying to get my damn refund, which was not givin to me when Josh said he would, (remember the "once fedex picks it back up I will refund you" and the "the second I receive it back I will refund you")bullshit. Just like emails went unanswered in the beginning until I started this thread, and just like the no refund until four days after he had his spoiler back and he got word of the bank charge dispute. So to date I have no refund in my paypal and now paypal is making me jump threw hoops with bank statements proving the charge and fedex send back confirmations just to try and get my own damn money!!! I have no refund still!!!! Josh took the time to go back and forth with me and accuse me of trying to fraud him and talkin crap on emails. Who does this in business? I will never, EVER, order from them again, nor will I speak of them in a positive way. They are a joke of a business and are the most unprofessional vendor I have ever dealt with by far. I have a side business and would never under any circumstances screw a customer, drag my feet, avoid phone messages and emails, and then make accusations the way this place did! especially for a directly marketed product line that soley relys on camaro5 for it core business. Rpi does not understand business ethics, or customer retainment nor do they care...they should be greatful for the orders they get which will not be coming from anyone I know thats for sure. Now I wait for paypal and still remain without a spoiler. What a nightmare for $548.00 bucks
