We have found a Camaro, or should I say the Mother of Camaro has found us and asked for help! We have discussed on the forums about our involvement with GM in many departments from Chevrolet, to Pontiac, to GM Racing, to Camaro platform staff and others. We recieved a call today from GM asking for help. They are having rear springs fall out of the Camaro from other suspension manufacturers on 4
VERY SPECIAL Camaros plus a Camaro that GM is building that will blow the socks off of everyone. Unfortunately, the world does not know about this Camaro and we cannot discuss it so do not ask!!So Pete and I will be at a undisclosed GM facility doing a install with them present. The Xa coil overs will be going on this Camaro! When we do it, I will see if we have permission to discuss the Camaro and take pictures. Plus we will be able to test the before and after performance level. We are very excited! So the Xa beta test Camaro is selected. Thanks to all. On a positive note, having it done on Monday, means we can get production up and running extremely fast. Thanks to all mike dms |

From what I hear, there will be a very special Camaro, a more coveted Camaro in the eyes of some collectors than the Z28, but I cannot say any more than that.

We take our OEM relationships very seriously. When we get a call, we do everything we can to support them. This is particularly true with GM. GM has been very good for Pedders and the only way we have to say thank you is to be very good to GM. Brand-X did lowering coils so Pedders will do Xa coilovers. How is that for a thank you? These are show cars, not go cars, but the Xa coilovers will allow the designer to set the vehicles at exactly the ride height they envisioned when they did the original design. When they migrate from being mostly to show to mostly go cars the Xa coilovers will deliver superior performance. That is how Pedders answers a call from GM to say Thank You. |

It is not hard at all. For the fronts, it will be easier to adjust with the wheels off and there will be approx a 1mm change in strut height to ride height. Makes it easier and important to make sure the threads are very clean and free from dirt.
For the rear, wheels off the ground and approx a 1.75 to 1 ratio. Adjusting the shocks is a breeze. As long as you can count, and would like to play a little, you will be able to fine tune the settings for your driving style thanks mike dms |
