First engine bay shots of the 2009 Chevy Camaro + other exterior/interior bits

This was a V6
the Fuel door on the passanger side
there was going to be an information Center.

Not Bad huh..

We still need a picture of the Passanger rear quarter, looking for fuel door,

Anyone see the Battery in the engine compartment? .. I seem to not see it... hmmm

Oh and yes I want this car!

Other things ive noticed,

remote start built into key
menu/select option on radio (mp3/ipod integration)
Phone option on radio (bluetooth)
dead pedal on floor next to clutch
No door lock/unlock button/toggle on door panel
strut for hood lift

DetroitWonk do you think you can sneak a camera into work? I thought the other part of the dash was supposed to light up also. I didn't see a battery in the engine compartment but it could be within the fender or just located in the back of there like my tahoe. Or maby in the trunk!!!! LOL

Way Cool! I love the lights on the gauges and the stereo system is even growing on me a lot! I have absolutely no complaints about anything in any of those pictures!

I'm also wondering what that box is up above the rear view mirror. I think maybe it's storage for sunglasses.

The battery is probably going to be in the trunk for better weight distribution. The door lock unlock button looks like it is between the HVAC controls right under the hazard flasher button. One button centrally located is fine with me .
The strut will probably change to gas struts, remember this is just a pre production car, there will be changes.

It is coming along, and more and more its growing on me. However a few things:

Absolutely *hate* having the dials next to the vents for opening and closing. They really ruin the flow of the dash. They have a "we forgot about them at design time, so we just threw them on the sides" look. If anything, rotate them to a vertical layout and flush them up against the side of the vent.

The HVAC controls are starting to wear me down where they look better with each iteration. Still not sure.

Otherwise, its getting there!
