It is isolated until more happen. So this is isolated now. Let's not all freak out before it is time. If it keeps happening then we should get mad, but until then make a note and move on!

Interesting, Suzuki had plastic issues with Katana mirrors in the early 90's that ended up being an issue with the polymer not the design. The plastic would shrink over time causing the plastic to crack. Could be a combination of speed and polymer. Not really worried about it. I'm sure it will get fixed.

The nice thing about posts like this is that it lets people know what to keep an eye on as well as informing GM about issues that were not revealed through development and testing. If GM sees this thread, they may do some additional testing and, if it's not an isolated occurrence, possibly even tweak the mold to address the issue so it does not become a something that plagues 50k+ Camaros.

That looks nasty !!
I'll give my engineering opinion on this. If this in fact happened from some high speed runs, then it is very likely it will eventually show up on all of the cars. It's a highly stressed area which will fatique with time and develop cracks. An accumulation of wind forces, road bumps and heat/cold cycles will start the process. And who knows how far that crack is going to travel?
I'm not trying to be negative about it, just giving my opinion. It's a darn shame and I hope I am wrong.
I would think a brace could be developed to keep the center part of the nose from moving.

I really hope that issues like this get posted for every component failure that occurs from every production Camaro. Why? Because it reinforces your argument if your fascia crack 3 years from now and the dealer tries to deny warrany.

As other have stated, this is not a 155 issue, but a component fatigue issue. As much as GM monitors this site, I am sure that they are already aware of the issue.

To my fellow Camaro pre-order enthusiasts, I would just recommend that you keep a keen eye on this area of your car. I know I will be.

We can all hope GM is trolling the boards today.

Well this was posted by a person, stating an observation from other people... even the OP doesnt know all the details. Could it be possible they well.... had a fener bender or something and just aren't disclosing it? Yeah i know there probably would be more paint damage or whatever. But no one knows for sure what happened.

Seems cracks in plastic get more interest than the car that zapped it's battery wire and stopped in its tracks.
