Expert to take a lost as all V6's bought are new ones now because of resale prices are on par with new ones. Only used Camaro SS's are moving off the lots!

If you're able to pull off the deal expect a big ass smile on your face when you drive the SS!

Negotiate the best price you can on the new car your looking at first...hold off on talking trade-in...usually if you go in talking a trade-in with a balance owed, the numbers, monthly payments, balances, all get blurred...if all you want to do is finance/re-finance everything, it might get confusing...get hard numbers on the new car and then on your trade-in...easier to do the math yourself...then talk financing...or you may want to try and sell your old car private party...my $.02

Expect to drop $15K for 100 horsepower, a chin spoiler, and a silly mail slot.

Well you have a 2011 1LT so expect to get 23k or less for the trade in. 24k if ur lucky. Now the 1SS starts at the lower 30's + all the extra they add including your financing amount. So do the math. Now remember yes you will be upside down on the long run but its nothing that you will feel all at once. All this is on the long run and not to mention the smile ur gonna have for the next 6 yrs. Besides man $$$ comes and goes and you only live once so enjoy and make sure u can afford the monthly note.

Chip on the shoulder maybe there?

If I might just say........... That 100hp is very easily expandable to much more. The 6 really is limited.

BTW, the difference in a 1LT and a base SS is around $6700.00 so not sure where you're getting that $15k from unless you're talking about the percieved loss he takes.

Still guarantee it comes in WELL under 15k.

But, If I'm a bank, I'm not giving any auto loans for 7 to 10k above the cost of the car.

I get why people with LT Camaros want to upgrade to an SS Camaro, I really do. The SS is an amazing machine…fast...powerful…sexy…but it just seems INSANE to trade in a brand new car, that you just bought, to get an SS. The money you lose in a deal like that is unbelievable.

Don’t say it’s because I haven’t driven an SS.

I have.

It was amazing.

Dont tell my wife.
