How about if he didn't answer multiple emails and multiple voicemails? How about if he changed the price on you in the middle of the deal? How about if he refused to honor supplier pricing while promising it to others? How about if you asked him a question and he told you to look it up yourself?

I'm not going to beg him to take my $30K. I found another dealer that honors supplier pricing and doesn't have all the added fees that Steve quoted, so my price is $825 less than Steve's. And this dealer has never taken more than 4 hours to return a call or email. Today is 20 days for Steve! LOL What a salesman!

Inconsistent answers to multiple customers is a sure sign of a sleazebag. Just look what he did to the member from Florida. There are many complaints against him here, not just mine. I'm only sharing the information to hopefully spare someone else a bad experience. I hope your deal goes perfectly smooth. But you have to admit, it's a 50/50 shot.

GM told me today that my car was built on the 5th, Gary apparently is to busy to answer e-mails today so I don't have a vin yet.

Congrats! I emailed Gary for a status update and he got right back to me and let me know I'm at 3400. If your car is delivered during the week, when do you plan on flying up?

Does anyone know when the dealer actually finds out a car is built? As far as I know it's when the car is actually loaded for shipping and the invoice is generated. As usual on this board you probably know before the dealer since the car is not yet in transit.

I doubt my event code has progressed, I've only been at 3000 for a little over 2 weeks now, but when my car is delivered, I plan to be in Buffalo within 2 days.... No matter what day of the week the car is delivered.

Thanks, got to see what the day is and what's going on closer to the exact date. Maybe I will try Gary on an other e-mail account.

I was sent an invoice and it included the $500 above invoice pricing. I'm very confident that Steve is going to stick by his guns and give us the pricing he promised.
Can't wait till Steve gets back. I feel confident dealing with him, so I hope by the time my car comes in he's there to seal the deal.
