I feel pretty good about Steve though, and anyone on the fence should know that SO FAR, Steve has been very courteous and pretty prompt with returning emails and answering questions with me. I choose to call him if possible rather than email.

I emailed Steve on Wednesday April 29th asking where my order stood and why I was still at 3000 when I should have been the 4 V8 and 6th overall Camaro order. I just got another email back from him today over a week later that he will be out. Things definatley do not seem to be going smoothly, the bad part is I can not find out anything other than I am at 3000. See my email and Steve's responses below.

After I spoke to you yesterday I saw on the Camaro5 forum that 2 people that ordered Camaros from Joe Basil after me were notified by you that their cars were at 3300 and 3400, mine as you know is still sitting at 3000. I tried calling the GM Customer Service number, but they would not give me any information at all. (this was a mistake I got no where with them) Can you or do you have any way of looking into this further? It just does not make much sense that the other 2SS RS cars are moving and mind is not, as you know mine has been at 3000 since March 26th. I would greatly appreciate if you could check on this and see what the issue might be with my Camaro? Please if possible let me know something on this? I am on vacation next week, so I have gary keeping an eye on the vin tracker. If you need anything call and ask for gary groat he is well aware of your situation.

he actually called me yesterday and wanted to talk to me about all the posts on here and the issue with the guy from florida. and to make sure i was still comfortable dealing with him and keeping my order in. it is hard at times to get ahold of him and that is frustrating at times. but he did tell me he was going to be on vacation for the next 9 days unless one or more of the cars comes in that he would go into work to deliver the cars to the buyers as he said many of the ones he has sold have been through phone calls and traffic generated from this site. and that if i had any questions to contact gary and that he would update EVERYONE thats placed an order with him when he returns. i dont know for sure if i really went to 3000 today but several people on here have told me you go to 3000 from 2000 within a couple days and then the wait really begins.

Count your blessings. I left Steve a voicemail and an email 19 days ago. Neither has been returned. I wouldn't buy a used skateboard from Steve, much less a 30K+ automobile. You have to wonder how some of these guys stay in business.
