I drove a z-28 in alaska, its called being careful and spending a few dollars on tires that are made for winter weather. the only time RWD was bad up there was when I had no momentum or a steep hill, find other routes or have about 200lbs of sand bags in the rear T-Top area

I don't really understand this thinking about "This is a muscle car and there is no need for girlie options". How much time will you really spend burning off the tires and racing mustangs at stoplights? After a new set of tires and a few tickets, you will have to calm down. Most of us who have jobs will be doing a lot of normal driving with a Camaro, so why wouldn't you want all the nice options available?? Look at the corvette, it has every option you can think of.

this will be my daily driver from april til november. why not drive it all year round you ask? well i live in buffalo ny and to be quite honest i have a 4x4 blazer so why would i drive my 40 thousand dollar camaro in the snow and salt? i have driven rear wheel drive camaros in the snow when i was younger and didnt have 2 cars.
but to the point of his post personally i wanted the 4 pack of gauges that was the reason i stepped from the 1ss to the 2ss. i wanted them installed from the factory not the dealer. and when i looked at all that came with the 2ss it was a no brainer for me to upgrade. and thats what they want you to do is upgrade for the better package. and if you look most orders i have seen on here are for 2ss.

Here in Canada, heated seats are nice even if you don't drive in winter (fall and spring are cold in the mornings). Heated mirrors aren't made to melt ice - In the spring and fall, humidity condenses on a cold car in the mornings. Heated mirrors dry the condensation up in minutes.
Too bad these cars don't come with COOLED seats. Black leather seats in summer is no fun. |

^Now that I can agree with, even though I will love me some heated seats, the summers get pretty warm around here as well.

![]() We get your point, it isnt a very strong one, but we get it. Whether you realize it or not, Black River isnt the only place on this planet! There are PLENTY of people around the world that dont have a "beater for the winter" and that actually WANT to use muscle car year round. There has been so much tesing done on this car in the last 3 years that it has been proven that this car CAN handle cold weather, and snow. The heated seats are smart as hell, esp. for people that live in the Northern states like Indiana where I am. It gets horribly cold here, not just in the winter, but in early to mid spring and late fall, so heated seats are great! My parents Envoy has them, and they get used very often in the colder times. As PROOF that the Camaro CAN handle cold weather, check out these pictures... This is the 2010 Camaro V8 IVER (I know this because of the Brembos) cold-weather testing in SWEDEN from February 29, 2008. It can be done, and MANY people WILL be driving these cars in the winter... Flame me if you want nards... proof is in the pictures.... ____________________________________________ OK, back to your regularly scheduled programming. I'm truely sorry for going off like that... I'm just not a fan of people taking shots at people like that for no reason. |

well im done with this. Kudos to those that want to drive a 40k sports car in the dead of winter. And Im not knocking every single option. I just think their grouping of options, what cars they put them on was not the best. So Im done with this post. Options are usually things that you cant afford, not things you dont like, and to me the options are grouped so you dont like them
