Don't you ever read, I already stated I didn't know either way, I just read an article that made a statement. Have you personally driven or tested one to prove your point, or are you just repeating what Ford is spoon feeding the car magazines ?

And on the street perhaps? Look, even the Ford Engineers I've talked to are impressed with the way the Magno-neato suspension allows the ZL1 to take the corners and make full use of the track, inclusive of the curbing. But the right track for whichever side, with the right combination of straights and curves will favour one car over another. At the strip, weather and track conditions will do the same. It's a drivers race, so stop the bench racing and get out there and put in some ZL1 track time. Oh, and post videos while you're at it.

There is a rumous floating around that GM did not want any magazine to compare the ZL1 to a GT500. Now I havn't heard any official word on it which makes total sense because why would GM want everyone to know that.

Seriously! Why is there no 2012 ZL1 VS a 2012 GT500 comparison ANYWHERE??? Its the greatest match up of all time!

Why is everyone comparing the 2012 ZL1 to a 2013 GT500?

Something strange is going on.

This thread gave me a headache. O.o'
In reality we are all gonna be loyal to our car and the point is to just be happy driving it and to have a good time at the track with it. Niether car is gonna win all the time and no two drivers are ever gonna be exactly the same. The crying and excuses are pointless.
Take your car and go have some fun and share the vids & pics with the rest of us ZL1 dreaming enthusiasts. Especially the IOM ones...

I agree!! The ZL1's will only win 9 out of 10.

Wow, every single ZL1 vs GT500 thread ends up like this. The OP makes a request such as "someone post a drag race video or timeslip comparing the two" and people continue to argue which is better.

All I wanted was to see a timeslip, I read this entire thread, and wasted my time.



I really need to stop reading threads like this in hopes for valid evidence....
