What if I paint the door panels IBM, will the ABL still work correctly?

You guys talking about the dome light?

Personally, I like it. It's a small detail that is normally overlooked. Plus, it's helpful for seeing where the doorsill is at night.

It is cool, just wish it wrapped all the way around, from the dash to the doors.

It's like a stoplight with one bulb burned out, or a neon sign with a letter missing... no dash, just on the doors.

i am excited for the lighting, most new cars have a few randomly scattered LEDs, mustangs included, the camaro took it one step farther.

and if thats the only reason to get a 1ss, idk get a 2ss, im sure theres some way to kill the lights, a fuse or a wire. i mean, it basically depends on whether or not you want leather seats and some of the other features

At least we can all agree that GM failed miserably on the ABL from what they showed it would like when we preordered and what we ended up getting.

Mustang uses fiber optics not led's. The 2010's have the lights in the door sills (with covers that you can have customized to just about anything you want), door handles, cup holders and front and rear footwells. All of which you can change the color. Unfortunately I know this because my wife just ordered a 2010 Shelby GT 500.
