I would hardly call a 200 wet shot 'little'

why no 60' time? 1/4 mi times are about worthless without that. can you please share?

It sounds like this is on stock 20's?

I would honestly expect a cam/intake/tune stall car to go high 11's on MOTOR (with DR's) let alone a 200 shot.

keep us informed as the bugs get worked out. pretty cool someone already did a stand alone fuel system with a wet shot

Thumbs down Nitrous? You're kidding, right?

Nitrous? Seriously? Is this a game to see who can destroy their engine faster than everyone else?

Nitrous is just a pathetic "go fast" button. The word "nitrous" only makes me think of ragged out engines, blown head gaskets, burned out exhaust gaskets, and idiots in beat-up Honda Civics.

Come on people, drive the car like it should be driven and leave the nitrous to the dentists.

In the right hands nitrous is no big deal to an engine. Now if it was a guy that goes through bottles of it every day, engine will go ...boom!

Here is a good thread to read if you want to learn about nitrous...

no problem!

a time slip and a couple of videos should be posted on my site today as soon as Owen gets to it. the link to the thread is in my original post at the beginning

oh man, i'm cool. i understand everybody is going to have their own opinion, and i respect that.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm glad you like the car. Hopefully we can get that 10 second time slip pretty soon

Do you care to share more info on the specifics of the parts....converter size, approx cam size, how is the stall working so far on the street with lock/unlock?

I would like to see some video/time slip. Our TBSS site requires video/timeslip proof before you can post times....not saying anyone on here is dishonest, I think its just a good rule of thumb...It makes it alot easier to understand how much mod = ET/MPH etc.

Nice work, and pretty clean install!

I 2nd that. Would love to hear details, there has not been a lot of testing done yet on the 6 speed auto cars!
I’ve love to know more about the cam, if you limited the phasser.
What’s it idle at, do you need the stall converter, and how street able is it.

I picked up my IOM 2SS/RS with Auto last night with 8 miles on the odometer (a rainy night :( ) ...that Exhaust is the first thing that needs to go!

This am, I got up early cleaned it up again, and the sun was out.
At 9:00 the wife said she needed it to go to yoga!, (her mercedes is in the shop) now she’s at the nail shop. geeezzzzz
And she has the nerve to call me and complain about all the people stopping her and taking pictures and asking all sorts of questions.

Did you guys get kicked out for running too fast at Baytown? Bring it to Lonestar test and tune tonight if you think it has more in it. Wait a second, its got NOS - so it definitely has more in it! Congrats and I am sure that we will see Camaro 1/4 mile times drop from mid 11's t0 10's, 9's and even faster on a very regular basis!

You have no clue that's all. I know plenty of people running NOS kits for years now with no problems at all. Don't be so ignorant.

A couple questions:

1. What are the limitions that AFM puts on cam choice? Is it lift alone?

2. Why did they not just deactivate it?

Thanks
guys, we'll have to wait for Owen to get online and share the specifics of the parts. I remember one of the numbers on the cam specs were WAY off what i was used to on a regular old LS1, i guess it's the lift, i don't remember. He wanted to keep the AFM because he figured he feels that the car is such a nice quality car that everybody might not want to make an all out street bruiser out of it like what typically is done with F-bodies. Good news is, I do have a video now. Here it is:

Guys, I would like to add that ARD is doing a dyno day today, so it might be later tonight before we can get any of their stuff posted up. Sorry for the inconvenience
