Top Gear Online Review - Camaro SS vs Challenger vs .... GT500... ??

I saw this review mentioned as being in Top Gear magazine - but I see it is now on their website Bizarre review Net - the review reads as saying that Camaro is best all round buy but loses to GT500 on basis of power (I believe the word is ... duh!) and loses to the Challenger on looks... Review was not done by one of the 3 regular presenters but by one of their magazine writers

Thanks for the post, but jesus.... not again. I guess we should be happy that everyone insists on comparing the GT500 and not the GT.

Michael Harvey reviewed this one and not the main Top Gear three we all know.. When it appears on the show, it will get a much better review and post a good time around the track. Until then, they can write what they want about the Camaro vs a GT500 and point out that the GT500 is faster..No Duh.. I think this writer is trying to be funny and sarcastic like Jeremy Clarkson is but fails miserably. Hamonds will give it a good/great review (since he loves the Challenger) and Clarkson will call it rubbish and then say it is brilliant all in the same sentence..

Duh. If someone offered me a free GT500 or a free SS, I would take the GT500 also. Most people would. It is a Shelby GT500! Actually, it wasn't as much of a bashing as I figured the top gear guys would give the Camaro. They actually said, in a sort of back-handed way, that the Camaro was the best overall car, but they just didn't like it as much for personal preference reasons.

Watched the new Top Gear (US version) and they compared the Challenger SRT8, Camaro SS (auto), and a Mustang GT. That was a decent show, but they said the Camaro was a barbie car (I believe they had a white with orange stripes). I just don't know why they'd go with a stick in the other cars, and go with the less powerful Camaro....
