It's ok.. it's not as cool as the '91 firebird refresh so I don't think anyone will cancel their 2013 orders for a 2014 based on the refresh alone.

From what I see, it's ok. If someone gave me a free one, I'd accept and enjoy it. But I definitely prefer the current body lines, tail lights, bumpers, mail slot, etc. i would not trade in my current Camaro for one of these. We upgraded to the GM ground fx rear diffuser and rocker panels before we ever received the car. We weren't fans of the stock diffuser, so I'm curious to see the new one. Couldn't see it well in these pix. I instantly felt a little bad for the ZL1 owners since it mimics their distinctive styling. It's nice they added a heat extractor, but wish they'd chosen the one from the Hot Wheels concept. As others have said, this one is small and looks a little cheap. Looking forward to seeing more tomorrow. |

GM must be really going after women here, hence the reveal on this show.

I'm happy with my '11 SS Convertible and would wait for the C6 before buying another C5 anyway. I like the new front end OK - I'd probably black out the chrome strip. I like my aftermarket Hex Vents on the hood better but if my car came with the new heat extractor I could live with it.
My comments on the rear end styling will have to wait until I can see one in person and get used to it - I didn't like the rear styling on the 2010's either when I first saw them. All in all, the new refreshed look is along the lines of what should have been expected in general - new front end and taillights basically. |

You could be right if it was just the matter of the front fascia. But the heat extractor looks very cheap/not well integrated compared to something like the hex vent mod, and the rear end is vastly disappointing. Who knows, I might come to prefer the new front fascia, but no way in hell would I ever be jealous/trying to justify my new 2013 purchase when it comes to the rear-end. That is just plain ugly and time wont change my mind.

I hope quite a few people buy a 2014, then I can buy my VR 2SS off a lot.

Eh, not a fan. Initially I liked the front end, and it's not too bad. But I hate the taillights and I hate the vent on the hood. Looks out of place. There's much better looking aftermarket hood vents right now available for our cars. I'm happy with my car.

I don't care for it - but I have to believe some that hate it today will consider it tomorrow once they hear what the performance enhancements are...

I dont like it at all, the front fascia looks all scrunched up, and the rear just looks odd. It's like the tried to do the Euro style taillights with a twist, but failed. I wish they did do something different with the interior too, but it doesn't seem like they did

This is one woman who is not a fan of the "refresh". Refreshing it is not!

Wasn't the whole concept of the Camaro borrowed from the Mustang? In any case, I like it. Brings an element of design refinement to the car that matches GM's brilliant engineering updates. Feels more world class. I assume the chrome is deleted on performance variations which will likely rook a different hood as well. Nice work GM.

OK....now that I've seen the TV shots...my opinion on liking the front end has dropped somewhat.
It looked better in the small rendering, but the live TV shots are not helping it at all. As for the rear....I don't know what to think. I need to see more official press release photos to make a fair judgement, but definitely not in love right now.
