I can careless what happened to the car... Hope the person driving it made it another day to live, kinda sad to see shit like this, especially when you don't know who it is or if u know someone that has experience this, and didn't make it. Don't mean to sound like the drama queen but I've lost a family member to a similar situation and until this day not knowing how it happened, but never leaves my mind. Always remember, materialistic things come and go or can be replaced, people can't be.

ZL1 is pretty damn wild but then again you own one, right?

I do own a nitrous fed LS1 car that i'm pretty sure will give a ZL1 more than it wants... the SS is my daily driver

no a C6 Zo6 will run low 11s off the showroom floor(killing the ZL1 in the straight line) and beat it even worse around a road course(not much slower than a ZR1 around the ring for instance)

No way a ZL1 is going to hang with a Z06. Not even close. Barely hangs with the GS. The small HP advantage is nowhere near enough to overcome the close to 1000lb weight diff.

Does your Chevelle really have an LS6? If so, is it #'s matching? Mad respect if so. My '69 has the M-22 "Rock Crusher" in it. Nothing is more satisfying than listening to a 454 lope, and the gear wind of the M-22

Pretty sure the 1,500 mile break-in period does not refer to that kind of breakage.

What does you owning a LS1 with nitrous have to do with the price of tea in china? I could careless about what your track times are and if you can beat a ZL1 & ZR1. You just proved my point in my original post.

Fact of the matter is the ZL1 isn't to be taken lightly, period. For someone who isn't use to power its dangerous. The ZL1 is not a Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta, or a Miata.

I just recently watched a new zo6 run multiple 8.35's in the 1/8, and in my stock zed I ran a 7.88 my very first try. Now with just 2 g's I can run in the 7.5's and with practice and a good track I should be able to hit the 7.40's
