No they're not.

Sounds like either the plug wires aren't on good or you forgot to plug in the main connector on one side.

No, not side specific! 1 part# for all 8 coils!

ok well then I dont know what it could be then, cause a backfire is more than just a misfire. the firing order is DEFINITELY OFF!

You may have 2 of the coil harness plugs going to the wrong coil! Double check! Might need to swap em around!
